Five questions: the amount, who to contact, how long you have traded, roughly what comes in each month, and what the money is for. No documents, no fee, no obligation.

  • Five questions, no documents
  • No fee to apply
  • No obligation to accept

The application is the way in, and it takes about two minutes.

What you'll be asked to show

Five things a lender reads, and what each one tells them

No lender funds a promise. What they fund is a record, and it comes down to the same handful of items whichever program you end up in. Here they are, with every published requirement named and nothing guessed.

An hourglass among stacked coins: months of trading, and what they added up to.
  1. Time in business

How long the business has been trading. The application asks it in bands, from under a year to ten years or more.

    What it proves

That the business has lasted through more than one season, and that its revenue has a history rather than a start date.

    Which programs lean on it

No other program publishes a minimum. The lender decides.

  2. Monthly revenue

Roughly what comes into the business in a month. The application asks it in ranges.

    What it proves

The size of what the business can carry: how much a repayment would be as a share of what it takes in.

    Which programs lean on it

For the other four, what counts as enough is the lender's call.

  3. Recent bank statements

The business account, month by month, once a lender asks for it.

    What it proves

That the revenue is real. Deposits are the one figure a lender does not have to take on trust.

    Which programs lean on it

How many months they want to see, the lender decides.

  4. Credit

The owners' and the business's credit history, with your authorization, when you submit.

    What it proves

How debt has been handled before. It is one item among five, not the whole case.

    Which programs lean on it

The rest publish no minimum score. The lender decides.

  5. For equipment, the quote

What the machine, vehicle or fit-out costs, from whoever is selling it.

    What it proves

What the money buys and what it is worth. Qualifications vary with the equipment itself.

    Which programs lean on it

    Specific to equipment financing.

The first application asks for none of these as documents. It asks five questions, two of which are time in business and monthly revenue. Statements, credit and quotes come later, when a lender asks for them.
